Hanen Parent Training - Chat Well focuses on the child as a whole, including their social and emotional wellbeing. ​

Chat Well has Speech Pathologists trained in many of the Hanen programs, aimed at developing communication skills. The programs focus on supporting and empowering parents to use communication strategies during every day interactions. Chat Well focuses on the child as a whole, including their social and emotional wellbeing. 

 

These programs are delivered by a Hanen-Certified Speech Pathologist through a mix of individual caregiver-only sessions and video coaching sessions that also involve their child. A guidebook is available to purchase, which offers easy to understand strategies that can be used outside of the clinic. The programs may vary in length but are generally about 10 sessions and run during the school term.

 

We currently have Speech Pathologists trained in It Takes Two to Talk, More Than Words and TalkAbility Hanen programs.
